WHO WE ARE

About URSO

We are a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Grappling school under the tutelage of Tarik Bilgiç, Black Belt Second degree under Professor Roberto Meneguetti Almeida and furthermore Amaury Bitetti.

WHAT'S ON?

Our Classes

Gi

Train the classic art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu using the traditional kimono (gi). This class focuses on leverage, grips, and technical precision, teaching you how to use your opponent’s own clothing to control and submit them. Perfect for building a rock-solid defensive foundation

Submission Grappling

Strip away the traditional uniform and train in shorts and a rash guard. Without the fabric to grab onto, No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu relies on speed, wrestling dynamics, and body mechanics. It’s a high-energy, fast-paced workout that translates directly to real-world self-defense.

MMA

Bring it all together. This class blends striking, wrestling, and ground grappling into one seamless system. Whether you want to learn the mechanics of the world’s fastest-growing sport, push your fitness to the absolute limit, or test your skills, this is where it happens.

Youth Squad & Little Grizzlies

A fun, high-energy introduction to martial arts for our youngest team members. Through engaging games and basic movements, the Little Grizzlies learn foundational grappling skills while developing discipline, confidence, coordination, and teamwork in a safe, supportive environment.

Events & Seminars

Throughout the year we bring in guest instructors, run seminars to sharpen technique, and put on events that get the whole gym in one room.

New faces are always welcome, seminars are a great way to try Urso out without committing to a full class. Follow us on social media to see what's coming up.
